Past President, Rotary International (1991–92)

Rajendra K. Saboo is one of Rotary's most distinguished global leaders and a source of immense pride for Rotary International District 3080. As the second Indian to serve as President of Rotary International, his visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to humanitarian service, and dedication to world peace have left an enduring impact on Rotary across the globe.

A respected industrialist, philanthropist, and humanitarian, Rajendra K. Saboo has devoted his life to advancing Rotary's ideals of Service Above Self. During his tenure as Rotary International President in 1991–92, he championed international understanding, strengthened Rotary's humanitarian outreach, and inspired Rotary members worldwide to embrace service as a powerful force for positive change.

His home city of Chandigarh was later recognized as a Rotary Peace City, commemorating Rotary's commitment to peace and the unveiling of the Rotary Peace Monument in 2003 — an enduring symbol of the values he passionately promoted.

Throughout his Rotary journey, Rajendra K. Saboo has received numerous national and international honors for his exceptional contributions to humanitarian service, leadership, and global goodwill.
